There have been disappearances, yeah? What's being done about them?

[His hand writing isn't always the neatest, but right now it's hurried and a little chickenscratchy. Someone's worried.]

[ If you're feeling fancy and bored tonight (today, this morning..), here's a magic puzzle for you. It looks something like:

The parts can be re-arranged into two dozen different runes, which can then be translated into spells. The simpler ones, of which there are fifteen, simply make everything disappear when 'solved'. The remaining, more difficult nine are:
✧ Shimmery, translucent flowers appear around your head and shoulders, for about five minutes.
✧ BANG. Jumpscare.
✧ An enchanted doodle plays Hangman with you, the winning word changing periodically.
✧ Displays a recipe for zucchini bread. The best zucchini bread you've ever fucking had.
✧ Suggestions for what to try at the curry house in Hogsmeade.
✧ Creates a very cold feeling for about five minutes.
✧ Causes the message What else could you have been doing with your free time? to appear.
✧ Displays directions for a spell to turn nicotine cigarettes into clove cigarettes.
✧ Nothing. Unless you have a Dark Mark, in which case, a small black snake slithers into existence from the base of your wrist, wriggling to the inside of your elbow before vanishing.
Once each rune has been 'solved', the drawing vanishes, making doing more than one very difficult; the witch or wizard (or wizich) will have had to have made a copy or cast a charm to preserve it prior to fussing through everything.

I've always said there's no escaping the past, but this isn't exactly what I meant.

Were I a younger man, I think I might have tried to make a life here. As it stands now I just want to get home.

I've a question, however: is the registry being used to perhaps reunite those that may not find each other otherwise or is it simply a tracking mechanism? I personally don't need that sort of service but with the state of things it seems important to allow people familiarity.

If you were, or are, the type of student who didn't hand their homework in on time, then you are the worst sort of person.

On another note, what would you consider an apt punishment for a terrible crime?

Is the Draught for Dreamless Sleep something that's been created by now? If so, are there any recommended apothecaries that I could get it at?

Are there places to dance in this year and timeline? I'm not precisely trained to do much else.

Well, there's sex, but selling that seems generally frowned upon.

Portraits don't quite do people justice, no matter how lifelike they become through magic. But they are fascinating to study, nonetheless.

[ He is 100% sure that he will not grow up a balding old man with long white beard, and he will die on that damn hill. ]

An inquiry for those who use this form of communication: how many of you studied in Hogwarts? I would enjoy reading your experiences, should you wish to share them.

Is there anything more comforting than spending a rainy afternoon sipping tea and reading a good book? I've discovered some fascinating novels. There aren't enough hours in the day to read as much as I'd like. I'm curious if anyone shares my problem. So many words to read, especially when you're making up for lost time.

I have a number of inquiries if anyone would be willing to humor me. Some are for any Ministry officials reading, others are for anyone.

Will accommodations be made for those of us that cannot legally Apparate yet? What I am asking is this: if one is too young to Apparate and lives in the village set aside for "time deviants," will the community be connected well enough to the floo network that they will be able to get to work in London or will they be restricted to finding work in Hogsmeade for proximity? I am not sure just how close an eye the Ministry intends to keep on us.

What if we already have the Trace on us from another country?

Now for some general questions.

Who is hiring, may I ask? My skill set is wide-spread and I am not very squeamish.

Fellow "time deviants" : how many of you have settled into this provided (as it were) housing? How many of you still need accompaniment or assistance in paying?

When are you from? Where are you from? How do you feel about this place? Tell me these things.

Thank you very much for your time.

Personally, I'm just wondering why the "time deviant" curfew is still more lenient than that of muggle-borns.

Anyway, my real point is this: for any of those lost from your own times that know your way around a cauldron, I'm offering work. It's only part-time, but it's all I have. My shop, Auturgy, is in Diagon Alley - if you can't find it, just ask 'round for Lily Evans and you'll find me soon enough.

If you have problems working under a muggle-born, don't bother applying.

Oi, who's read the rot that showed up in the Prophet today? It's a load of shite is what it is, added to even more shite. Something should be done about it; if enough people make a fuss they'll have to at least listen.
