miavi. un: gesneriana. anon.

I've always said there's no escaping the past, but this isn't exactly what I meant.

Were I a younger man, I think I might have tried to make a life here. As it stands now I just want to get home.

I've a question, however: is the registry being used to perhaps reunite those that may not find each other otherwise or is it simply a tracking mechanism? I personally don't need that sort of service but with the state of things it seems important to allow people familiarity.

How odd. I had noticed the days felt longer, but I thought perhaps it was just me until I saw some of the others talking about it. I wonder if that means Muggles' history is closer to what it 's supposed to be like for them at this time?

I'm sorry you lost her, but you both clearly carry her with you now. I hope I get the chance to meet her.

[She hopes she and Draco are something like friends, in that future she can barely grasp.]

And no, I've not yet. Though from what I understand he and Scorpius are quite close. I suppose that could have been expected. You and Harry could have been friends had things been a little different; something of that must have passed on to the two of them.

[She'd seen, especially in the Manor, the places where Draco and Harry shared their similarities. She wonders if that had grown into an understanding at all, between her time and the one Draco is coming from.]

More than you were able to before without putting the people you loved at risk. I know I've told you before I understand why you couldn't intervene.

But thank you. It's good to know you can, now. We've ever so much work to do.

[She's already tired just at the thought of it all.]

Something to look into, I suppose. Perhaps it will help us figure out what went wrong.

It certainly seems rather possible, given how people are being pulled in from all sorts of times. I hope if she does come you'll be able to find her and keep yourselves safe.

Well, I'm glad to hear it's gotten somewhat sorted, at least. I'm glad things are generally so much better, when you're from. I'd love to hear more about it, if you wouldn't mind.

[It's a far cry from how things were when she was.]

I imagine we've had this conversation a thousand times, by the time you're from. It's all right that you were afraid. I'm still grateful for what you *were* brave enough to do.

We'll find more. There's always people wanting to do good, and it's not as though we're alone from people who fought against him in our time.

Yes, I saw Ron just the day before last-- and I see now you were speaking to him earlier. Are you still? Do let me know if you need me to tell him you're one of us. I imagine he's not been very understanding.
