I've always said there's no escaping the past, but this isn't exactly what I meant.

Were I a younger man, I think I might have tried to make a life here. As it stands now I just want to get home.

I've a question, however: is the registry being used to perhaps reunite those that may not find each other otherwise or is it simply a tracking mechanism? I personally don't need that sort of service but with the state of things it seems important to allow people familiarity.

My apologies, I have not properly introduced myself, either. My name is Bellarix Black, and I work for the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. The Time Deviant Registry is, as you may have already guessed, a cooperation between the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and the D.M.A.C., so we might meet in person during your registration.


( and isn't that terribly exciting coincidence and not at all a thinly veiled way of saying that she'll check up on some of the newly registered folks in the near future? )
