Oi, who's read the rot that showed up in the Prophet today? It's a load of shite is what it is, added to even more shite. Something should be done about it; if enough people make a fuss they'll have to at least listen.

Which rot specifically?

Absolutely. I can understand caution, but have disappearances really stopped since implementation of the Trace and curfew? Whose interests are really being protected?

Disappearances of muggleborns and half-bloods have been happening for forty years. The Time Deviants are a recent phenomena. Perhaps they're related, but to say the former is caused by one of the latter seems foolish.

Your distrust of the ministry is well-founded.

Where I'm from, everyone currently at the highest levels of the Ministry was directly responsible for atrocities targeted at muggles, muggleborns, and half-bloods. Including "disappearances".

You don't find that surprising? Maybe there's hope for this place after all.

Be careful, though. I have every reason to suspect the same things are happening here, under the surface, and if that is true, drawing attention to what you know will likely only lead to the "disappearance" of yourself or someone close to you.

I suppose if anyone knows what they're capable of, it's their own family. I do have to say, though, writing something so telling of your identity and then following it up with a statement of how careful you are makes you seem not very careful at all.

I'll take it as a sign of trust, though.
