Portraits don't quite do people justice, no matter how lifelike they become through magic. But they are fascinating to study, nonetheless.

Too true, unfortunately.

Just because something comes from old ideas does not mean that it loses credibility. There are still many that hold to your same cause.

I may not be quite dead yet to these people but I found myself quite the cause for alarm when I arrived - apparently, I was imprisoned.

Now I am a mere child they cannot bring themselves to lock away for acts I have not committed. I am simply going to use this time to learn from mistakes I have not made yet.

I, too, have read about my history.

[ he'd mostly focused on anything hogwarts-related, but there's a surprising amount of literature regarding his relationship with godric. what they know and what he knows differ in the minuscule details, but the main picture remains similar. his beliefs set him aside from peers, and he becomes the traitor, the one deemed wrong. ]

You are correct in saying that I have made a strong impression to those that felt as strongly as I did, but I had hoped to create a must more lasting impact in our community. These people face the same dilemma now as I did in my time, when they hope I had when I aided in the creation of the school was for the future generations to learn and improve on our past failures.

Perhaps that can be addressed once more now that I am here. I certainly would like to see how Hogwarts is faring now.
