I have a number of inquiries if anyone would be willing to humor me. Some are for any Ministry officials reading, others are for anyone.
Will accommodations be made for those of us that cannot legally Apparate yet? What I am asking is this: if one is too young to Apparate and lives in the village set aside for "time deviants," will the community be connected well enough to the floo network that they will be able to get to work in London or will they be restricted to finding work in Hogsmeade for proximity? I am not sure just how close an eye the Ministry intends to keep on us.
What if we already have the Trace on us from another country?
Now for some general questions.
Who is hiring, may I ask? My skill set is wide-spread and I am not very squeamish.
Fellow "time deviants" : how many of you have settled into this provided (as it were) housing? How many of you still need accompaniment or assistance in paying?
When are you from? Where are you from? How do you feel about this place? Tell me these things.
Thank you very much for your time.

When and Where seem to be rather specific questions. Are you looking for someone?
no subject
Mostly I am curious, but I am looking for someone in particular. There is someone very dear to me and I do not know if he is here.
no subject
Oh? Who are you looking for? I've an idea of some of the people who are here.

[ how strange a way to put it. ]
His name is Albus. Albus Dumbledore.
[ help him find his
boyfriend :) ]/span>no subject
[Although, the more Albus thinks about it, the more accurate the word seems to apply. He had been playing three years ago. His actions were those of a kid who really had no idea what he was doing. Strange how he's able to admit that now...
At first, Albus only see's his name and he's completely bewildered. Thankfully, before he begins asking his own set of questions, he reads the surname.]
Albus Dumbledore. Ah, right. Well, from what I know he's currently the Headmaster of Hogwarts.

He's just going to answer a different question, though. ]
The Floo Network around Hogsmeade is quite extensive and fully operational. And of course, you might find employment in the village or at the school.
[ He would pay a lot of galleons to hear about Gellert Grindelwald going to ask Albus Dumbledore about part-time work. ]

I know that many people are going to be looking for work and I thought it best to leave my travel options open.
[ lbr he'd do it to keep an eye on him. ]
no subject
I must admit some curiosity of my own. How wide-spread is your skillset?
no subject
I cannot imagine you want an itemized list of every skill, but I can perform medical magic, Obliviation, spell-crafting, charm work, and curse-breaking, to name a few.

He should probably not say anything, just make note and avoid the hell out of him. But he's Ron Weasley, so.]
Are you going to answer your own questions?
no subject
I believe it to be very interesting, though the rules are surprisingly strict. I fail to see why anyone would put muggle-born or half-blood witches or wizards in any kind of danger. Our kind deserve to be protected.
Have I missed anything of interest?
no subject
[Different Dark Lords, different rules, only Ron fell asleep in History of Magic more often than not, and there is way too much he doesn't remember here. Way too much to be diving in like this, probably.]

Considering you are within our jurisdiction, whether or not you have the Trace on you from another country is not of much import here. We could always ship you back to them, if you'd like.
no subject
I would not mind in the least being sent back to my home country, but nonetheless I was only curious if it would simply be layered over top of the existing Trace already in use.
no subject
You could have made these inquiries while you were at the Ministry. Did they slip your mind or did you simply want an excuse to comment on how the Trace has become a requirement for time deviants?
no subject
Ah, you've caught me. It affects me very little because I already had the Trace. I thought I would have a little harmless fun.
It is less a commentary than it is an expression of interest.

I'm from a considerably earlier point than most seem to be.
no subject
I can understand the sentiment. I am happy you have been able to find your own accommodations.
How far back, might I ask? I am the furthest back I have heard of so far, but considerably earlier intrigues me.

It has been approximately eighty, for me. There is a large gap between us, even. Perhaps others will come to fill it.

I haven't sorted where I'm to live yet. I don't know whether to move into that village near Hogsmeade or try to stay with someone else.
I'm from the future, almost 20 years.
[ He won't say how he feels about this place, not out in the open like this. ]
no subject
It may be more convenient to stay with someone else if you have the option, I think. At the very least because at least you (presumably) know someone where you're staying.
Fascinating. Is it much different from this?
no subject
In some ways, it is... [ But not because of the 20 years. ] I suppose how different it is depends on perspective.
no subject
That is true. Wizards change so little in 20 years, but I have noticed Muggles are always in a rush comparatively.
