I have a number of inquiries if anyone would be willing to humor me. Some are for any Ministry officials reading, others are for anyone.

Will accommodations be made for those of us that cannot legally Apparate yet? What I am asking is this: if one is too young to Apparate and lives in the village set aside for "time deviants," will the community be connected well enough to the floo network that they will be able to get to work in London or will they be restricted to finding work in Hogsmeade for proximity? I am not sure just how close an eye the Ministry intends to keep on us.

What if we already have the Trace on us from another country?

Now for some general questions.

Who is hiring, may I ask? My skill set is wide-spread and I am not very squeamish.

Fellow "time deviants" : how many of you have settled into this provided (as it were) housing? How many of you still need accompaniment or assistance in paying?

When are you from? Where are you from? How do you feel about this place? Tell me these things.

That is certainly the furthest back I have heard, now.

It has been approximately eighty, for me. There is a large gap between us, even. Perhaps others will come to fill it.

While many things have changed, some haven't, and one of those things happens to be names - I am of Saxon descent, yes.

Are things very different for folk with our abilities in your home and in your time?

There are multiple schools and communities of witches and wizards that live together, but we still have no visible hope of integrating into society with Muggles.

They are frightened of us and treat us as though we are dangerous while often being the danger themselves. Things have improved from a thousand years ago but not by enough.

The last public execution for witchcraft in Britain was in 1684. As for my home country, the murder of our kind was prolific and wide-spread in the same century.

It's frustrating, knowing how little my work will count in the end. I suppose it's something that there are safe havens, though.

What work are you hoping to do here? You said that you're not squeamish.

But without the efforts at all? Imagine.

Anything, really. A lot of the more fiddly magic I am used to involves things that some people get squeamish about even now, so I thought I should put it out that I do not mind any work.

[ people are squeamish about the DARK ARTS, gellert. you can't just necromancy everywhere and expect people to accept it. ]

What sort of fiddly magic are you accustomed to? Don't talk around it; I'm not squeamish, either.

Much of my work in the past has involved necromancy and the like. It is unfortunate when magic gets billed "dark" and everyone turns from it.

I think what generally makes magic 'dark' is how the user wields it.

What use do you find for necromancy?

I agree. Intent is everything, no?

I held a vested interest in overpowering Death but I know now that is not the way. No, I believe that using it we can learn more about the differences between us and those without magic.

I want to know what makes everyone tick, so to speak.

How do you acquire your bodies?

I think there's only so much that can be done with the dead, though, truthfully.

Rather unfortunate but necessary methods owing to the lack of willing donors.

I agree wholeheartedly. There is so much more to be said for working with the living but that is even more difficult to arrange.

Unfortunate but necessary how? Murder, theft?

I suppose it depends on the strength of one's desire for answers, and a certain willingness to trust-- or the power to stop anything they've no desire to engage in.

Thankfully I have not had to resort to murder. Theft, yes.

It very much depends on all of those. Imagine what a willing participant could provide. What knowledge we could get from having that sort of leisure and time to work.

Good. Theft is unfortunate, but acceptable.

It could be invaluable. It wouldn't have been feasible in my time, but medical magic has come a very long way since then.

Medical magic is capable of keeping a person in enough stasis to last. There are potions to replenish blood lost, spells to monitor breathing and the heart...

It can be done. It should be done. It is only a matter of finding those who will.

Well, that is the key, isn't it? Proving to others, for one thing, how valuable the research could be.

I know from my research that Muggle scientists often experiment on themselves first to prove the viability.
