Personally, I'm just wondering why the "time deviant" curfew is still more lenient than that of muggle-borns.

Anyway, my real point is this: for any of those lost from your own times that know your way around a cauldron, I'm offering work. It's only part-time, but it's all I have. My shop, Auturgy, is in Diagon Alley - if you can't find it, just ask 'round for Lily Evans and you'll find me soon enough.

[Literally because his writing is probably chicken scratch in his urgency. Harry'shereHarry'shereHarry'shere is on repeat in his mind. How many weeks has he been looking at home? He has no idea how he's meant to apologize for everything, but he has to find his friend first.

Which means finding his mom's shop first. He will try not to burst in. Try.]

[ lily's going to look up as soon as ron comes through the door, blinking a little before she smiles a little at the urgency. well, he's certainly a weasley. she's already jotting down an address on a small piece of paper, folding it neatly and setting her quill aside. ]

Ron, then? Calm down, he's not going anywhere. The boys are all obsessed with him.

[ lily is too, a little, but she's better at hiding it. ]

Still, he tries to suck in a breath, seeing her writing something. The address maybe? It takes just about everything in him not to grab it and run, but the part that isn't consumed with finding his best mate is thrown at meeting his best mate's mum. She does have his eyes, just like - how many people have said?]

Bet he is right back. [It comes out as a bit of a mutter, because who can blame him? Ron feels like trash for telling Harry what he did. You don't have parents. He's a terrible friend, and he has to fix it.]

[ she hands him the address so soon as she's done with it, nodding once. ] He looks just fine. I saw him just the other day. I've hired him on at the shop, so I should be seeing him about every day from now on. In fact, even if you couldn't get to the house, you could see him here easily enough.

[ there's a moment where she glances at the door, frowns, then looks back to ron. ] He's not going to register, so far as I know. If he is, he's not going to let anyone know he's mine. Just his father's. But I don't think he is at all.

[ so there's an air of caution there - and lily is encouraging it, apparently. ] There aren't many places that'll hire someone that's not registered. Better then that he's here.

[And he reads it immediately, struggling to pull up a map of the area in his head. He's going to get lost, but it will be worth it because he is about to see Harry again. The relief - at finding his best mate, and that Harry is all right - is palpable.]
