I'd rather not say until I know for certain you're someone I know.

I was born in 1998.
no subject
Oh, no. Ron told him about this, told him about Albus. Is this Albus? No, it can't be; he'd be eighteen in 1998. ]
I may know of you.

I'm Remus and Dora's son. Teddy.
You're my godfather.
no subject
You're what???
[ That's wonderful news, honestly. It really is. He always did want Professor Lupin to be happy, and it seems like he was.
(So he thinks.)
But him? Remus' son's godfather?
Lamely: ]
Hi.

Hi.
I know you don't really have any reason to trust me yet, but I'd really like to see you.
I'm a bit lost here. I'm a healer, I've never really had to deal with this sort of thing.
no subject
Of course. Of course we should meet.
You're a healer?

You're a regular Madam Pomfrey. Better, even.
no subject
You and Ginny actually helped me getting it started.
no subject
[ He wonders why not Hermione or Ron. ]
That's really great, Teddy and I'm glad to have helped.
I'm sure your dad's proud.

[ And now we've got a sinking feeling in .... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... ]

And I'm afraid that my parents don't survive the war. Nana raised me; you and Ginny and the Weasleys helped.

Potter ...
[ w h a t the actual --
Harry's in such a state of disbelief it takes him a moment before he can respond. A droplet of ink drips onto the page, disappearing shortly after it lands.
And then: ]
I'm sorry about your parents. Is it safe that I know this information?
[ Though if he's meeting future godsons and hearing about actual sons, then knowing this much about Remus Lupin can't be that much worse. ]

It's alright. I mean, it's not alright, they shouldn't have died, but it's hard to miss someone you've never known, I suppose. And they're together, so that's what's important.
I don't see how any of us can really avoid it if we're all to work together to get home. We need to be able to trust one another.
no subject
I'm still sorry.
I know your dad and he's great.
[ Hands down his favourite DADA Professor. Actually, probably hands down his favourite professor. (Sorry McGonagall.) ]
As for all of us returning home, you do have a point.

We need to establish some sort of meeting place, I think, and a time. We're all so scattered, it's hard to tell who's here.

I keep thinking ...
Well, maybe things like this are better said aloud and in person rather than over the network. Even if this is a private channel.
I might be figuring something out. Will let you know. If you think of a good meeting place, write me.
[ This is putting some gargantuan trust in someone he still can't be 100% sure is who he says he is, but ... ]
