I might do some analysis on it when the initial problem is taken care of. Right now I can tell you that they've managed to remove the slugs from being part of the equation, but the result is the slime itself is thicker.
That was harder to tell from, er, the point of observation, but it did seem to be an oddly draining spell to cast, so my current hypothesis is that it expends more energy - possibly to change the consistency? I'll have to experiment myself, I think.

What is the nature of the slime? Clearly it hasn't done harm to the cat as yet.
Wrap it in a towel or blanket if you can manage it or else you're just stuck with the consequences.
Better off using Tergeo than Scourgify on something alive, probably.
[ has draco had to clean off living creatures before... maybe ]

I'm pretty sure I'm paying in blood, won't be the first time.
[ she didn't even cast the thing, why, cat, why. ]

In that case, Tergeo for the majority of the slime should be sufficient. The rest will be safe for the cat to bathe off itself.
Failing that, there are some potions that might help get it all off quick, but that would involve putting more fluid on an already furious cat.

Tergeo it is, and then I'll just - lock it in here for a while, I suppose.
[ At least she took at home and not back to work. That'd be a bit of a surprise for anyone using the broom closet for their most common purpose.
On second thought, it's really too bad she didn't take it back to work. ]

The cat's a better use for that, I'd expect.
