What's the best way to Scourgify a pissed off cat covered in, well, slime?

Very carefully.

What is the nature of the slime? Clearly it hasn't done harm to the cat as yet.

Wrap it in a towel or blanket if you can manage it or else you're just stuck with the consequences.

Better off using Tergeo than Scourgify on something alive, probably.

[ haha of course it is. ]

In that case, Tergeo for the majority of the slime should be sufficient. The rest will be safe for the cat to bathe off itself.

Failing that, there are some potions that might help get it all off quick, but that would involve putting more fluid on an already furious cat.

For the best, then. I'd be curious if they'd changed the makeup of the slime in any way, though.

That's fascinating. I wonder if the spell requires some sort of heft to it to be cast or if it's simply a personal preference of the caster.

Cast a body-bind curse first. Will keep the cat from squirming or running away while you clean it.

Probably best to have lots of good tuna on hand to ply its affections with afterward.

I wouldn't know, I've never been the sort to keep a cat for a pet. Though I'm sure the pate wouldn't go amiss.
