Several things, if you please:
1. Reading suggestions for advancements in healing magic in the last several centuries.
2. Really, I'm curious about general developments in formal magic. I don't use a wand, but I find them interesting.
3. Has it ever been recorded that someone else can physically interact with magic? See it, I mean, smell it, hear it, that sort of thing.

Thank you.

[ then as an afterthought, a little down the page: ] And no, I don't have a beard.

I was never the only one, Merlin. [ Though it is rather amusing now, that he apparently had the loudest platform, that his voice reverberated to every generation that came after him. ]

I will make time to see it, later. [ He will not deny if asked; a part of his heart and soul remains at Hogwarts, no matter what may come to his future. Should he return to his own time, he may indeed leave, as the history books say, but he knows that eventually, he will return to her. Always. ] I have been invited to brunch tomorrow, by the Minister of Magic himself. Perhaps I shall ask him about the school, before I head down there myself.

Do you?

Every muggle in Camelot would have had you burn at a stake, if not for the kindness of the Pendragons.

[ the rare breed, indeed. though it would be easy for salazar to believe that all the pendragons did was use merlin to their advantage, and show him off as a pet instead respecting him for who he is. but salazar not that bitter when it comes to muggles just yet — he still has some tolerance in him, however miniscule. ]

The last of my line, it seems.

[ at least for now. perhaps he will get to know the minister long enough to find out if there is a chance for the line to prosper once more, under a different name.

the last part of the message makes him smile, at least.
] And to think, that us "old men" are content to simply swear off each and every mythical god that comes to mind. It seems you've become far too popular for your own good.

It's been a thousand years. That my line has survived this long is good enough. [ And that the last is a Minister, a leader of his country, that seeks to uphold the ancestral ideas of the Slytherin House. ] Though I would not mind it very much if there ever is a chance to continue it. I suppose that would be up to Minister Riddle himself.

I've not decided yet on where to live, though the little village they propose doesn't sound to shabby.
[ In as much as he would have loved to have his old home, an old castle in the fens rich with the history and nobility that his family once enjoyed, it is only dust and ruins now. ] But you would not go there, I wager.

Perhaps there are books that kept records of our lineage. I would attempt to find out, if that is the case.

[ He imagines that there are. Their names are well-known enough; Salazar has no doubt that finding out if they have that kind of connection in their genealogy is an intriguing prospect to some. Pure-bloods, in particular, would have paid money for that — there is power in names, after all. ]

Are you open to visitors, at the very least?

Then you might get one in the near future, bearing gifts, if you're a fan of literature.

[ Salazar is an asshole 90% of the time, but sometimes he can be a good friend if he feels like it. ]
