Several things, if you please:
1. Reading suggestions for advancements in healing magic in the last several centuries.
2. Really, I'm curious about general developments in formal magic. I don't use a wand, but I find them interesting.
3. Has it ever been recorded that someone else can physically interact with magic? See it, I mean, smell it, hear it, that sort of thing.

It's been a thousand years. That my line has survived this long is good enough. [ And that the last is a Minister, a leader of his country, that seeks to uphold the ancestral ideas of the Slytherin House. ] Though I would not mind it very much if there ever is a chance to continue it. I suppose that would be up to Minister Riddle himself.

I've not decided yet on where to live, though the little village they propose doesn't sound to shabby. [ In as much as he would have loved to have his old home, an old castle in the fens rich with the history and nobility that his family once enjoyed, it is only dust and ruins now. ] But you would not go there, I wager.

I wonder if the others still have descendants in the world? [ for that matter, does arthur? ] It sounds as if he feels he has more pressing things to attend to than the getting of heirs. [ ... like oppressing muggle-born witches and wizards. ]

Absolutely not. It's far too near to others, I'd never sleep.
As a matter of fact, I've settled in a forest. I don't need much.
I can't imagine the Minister wouldn't provide for his ancestor, though.

Perhaps there are books that kept records of our lineage. I would attempt to find out, if that is the case.

[ He imagines that there are. Their names are well-known enough; Salazar has no doubt that finding out if they have that kind of connection in their genealogy is an intriguing prospect to some. Pure-bloods, in particular, would have paid money for that — there is power in names, after all. ]

Are you open to visitors, at the very least?

Perhaps so. The sheer number of books available in this time is stunning, truthfully.

Then you might get one in the near future, bearing gifts, if you're a fan of literature.

[ Salazar is an asshole 90% of the time, but sometimes he can be a good friend if he feels like it. ]
